Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, purchasing, accessing, or using Orbit, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms form an agreement between you and the developer identified on Orbit's App Store listing.

Orbit is a personal routine-planning and tracking tool. It lets you create recurring goals, pace them across a period, record completions or time, snooze routines, review history, and sync compatible app data through iCloud.

Orbit is a flexible organizational tool. It does not promise that you will complete a goal, form a habit, improve your health, or achieve any particular outcome.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to use the service independently. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or guardian must approve your use and any purchase.

Subject to these terms and Apple's applicable license terms, you receive a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Orbit on Apple devices you own or control as permitted by App Store rules. You may not transfer, sublicense, sell, or commercially exploit this license.

Orbit currently allows up to three active routines without Orbit Pro. Orbit Pro lifts that limit and unlocks the paid features shown in the app. Reasonable free-use limits and feature packaging may evolve, but changes do not remove access already purchased for an active entitlement.

Depending on your country and the current App Store offering, Orbit Pro may be offered as an automatically renewing monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The exact product, localized price, currency, billing period, included features, and any introductory offer are displayed before you confirm a purchase.

Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm a subscription. A subscription renews automatically for the same billing period unless you cancel it through your Apple Account subscription settings before the next renewal date. Apple may charge the renewal price within the period disclosed by Apple. Deleting Orbit does not cancel a subscription.

The price shown by the App Store at confirmation controls. Apple may apply taxes, currency conversion, or regional pricing. Subscription price changes are communicated and handled by Apple, including any notice or consent required by applicable law.

If a free trial or introductory offer is displayed, eligibility is determined by Apple. Unless you cancel before the trial or introductory period ends, it converts to the paid subscription shown at confirmation. Offer availability, duration, and eligibility may vary by person or region.

You may cancel a subscription through Apple at any time. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Purchases and refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies and applicable consumer law. The Orbit developer cannot issue an App Store refund directly.

Eligible purchases can be restored from Orbit's purchase screen using the Apple Account that made the purchase. Orbit uses RevenueCat to verify purchases and determine whether an Orbit Pro entitlement is active.

A lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-renewing purchase that provides Orbit Pro for the supported commercial life of the Orbit app. It does not guarantee that Orbit, every feature, or compatibility with every future device and operating system will exist forever. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.

Content you create, including routine names, notes, categories, schedules, and history, remains yours. You are responsible for what you enter, access to your device, the security of your Apple Account, and any backup or export you consider necessary. Orbit is not a standalone backup service.

Sync depends on Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services, which are operated by Apple and subject to Apple's terms. Availability, timing, and reliability can be affected by your iCloud settings, storage, network connection, device software, or Apple's services. Orbit continues to work locally without iCloud.

Orbit uses privacy-minimized anonymous product analytics through PostHog and purchase management through Apple and RevenueCat. Orbit does not use session replay or record your screen. Routine names, notes, categories, and completion history are not sent to PostHog or RevenueCat. The Privacy Policy explains these practices and your choices in more detail.

Orbit is a productivity aid, not a medical device, healthcare provider, emergency service, or source of medical, mental-health, fitness, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Do not rely on Orbit to diagnose, treat, prevent, or monitor a condition. Seek a qualified professional for advice and contact local emergency services when needed.

You may not:

• Use Orbit unlawfully or to violate another person's rights
• Bypass purchase checks, access controls, or security measures
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or redistribute Orbit, except where applicable law expressly permits it
• Interfere with the app, its providers, infrastructure, or other users
• Use automated methods to overload, scrape, probe, or exploit the service
• Misrepresent purchase status or use fraudulent payment methods

Orbit, including its name, design, mark, software, and original materials, is protected by intellectual property rights and remains the property of its owner and applicable licensors. These terms grant no rights other than the limited license described above.

Orbit depends on Apple services, including the App Store, StoreKit, and iCloud; RevenueCat for purchase and entitlement management; and PostHog for privacy-minimized product analytics. These services are operated by independent providers and may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Features may be improved, added, modified, suspended, or discontinued. The developer aims to keep Orbit reliable, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Maintenance, App Store issues, iCloud outages, network conditions, device compatibility, or circumstances outside the developer's reasonable control may affect availability.

If a material change affects a paid service, the developer will follow applicable consumer law and Apple's requirements. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be waived.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orbit is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so these exclusions may not apply to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Orbit developer and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for lost data, profits, opportunities, or goodwill arising from your use of Orbit.

Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability relating to Orbit will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Orbit during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or the minimum amount required by applicable law. These limits do not apply to fraud, deliberate misconduct, personal injury, or another liability that cannot legally be limited.

You may stop using Orbit and delete the app at any time. You must separately cancel an active subscription through Apple if you do not want it to renew. The developer may suspend access to online components when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address fraud, or respond to a serious breach of these terms.

Mandatory consumer protections in your country continue to apply. Subject to those protections, these terms are governed by the laws applicable where the developer identified on Orbit's App Store listing is established, without applying conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a formal claim, please use the support contact below so the issue can first be addressed informally.

These terms may be updated to reflect product, provider, legal, or business changes. The latest version will appear here with a revised effective date. Additional notice will be provided when required. Continuing to use Orbit after an update means the revised terms apply, except where the law requires another form of acceptance.

Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of Orbit. If these terms conflict with Apple's mandatory terms, Apple's terms control to the extent of that conflict.
